It's on! The first night tourney of the summer.
You think the fireworks on Friday will be explosive? That's nothing compared to what you'll see the next night, SATURDAY JULY 5TH! Court space is limited for the night tourneys so for this one we will only be able to have three divisions, Men's Open and Women's Open.
Be ready for a fun night, Victory Lane is running an all night "wood bat" baseball tournament along with our tourney, so the restaurant will be serving food and drinks well into the night, so even if you aren't playing join us for some great food, beer, and sports.
SATURDAY JULY 5th LINEUP
Men's Open: Check-in at 4PM and start at 4:30PM sharp, double-elimination matches.
Women's Open: Check-in at 5PM, start at 5:30PM, pool play.

Tanner Crandell and Eric Burness jousting in the semifinals.
Summer in Arizona is much like Winter in other places, not the time to be outdoors much. So our best playing times are fall, winter, and spring, and our schedule reflects as such. Where else can you get 75-degree blue skies in January.
Our volleyball season starts in late September and finishes when temperatures get ridiculous, in the summer most of our teams are playing in the AVP qualifiers and in CA. In 2007, 23 AZBVA male and female players competed in at least one AVP Qualifier Event, with 5 AZBVA tourney competitors playing in main draws (Rico Becker, Tyler Hildebrand, Ryan Mariano, Ed Ratledge, & Ty Tramblie)
Hopefully this season we can prepare even more guys for the AVP events.
